The Basic Skills course provides an introduction to climbing for anyone who wants to experience a safe adventure in the vertical realm, emphasizing safety skills, basic climbing technique, teamwork, trust, communication, and having a great time in a beautiful setting.

Rock About classes are designed for those seeking high adventure! We'll show you how to reach the summit safely and teach you skills that enable you to meet future challenges with confidence. Depart at 6:30am from the Canyon of the Eagles Nature Park. Deli-Style lunches, snacks, fruit and water is provided for the trip.
Climbing 101 Itinerary:

To be fully prepared for your trip: you should bring along a pair of hiking or athletic shoes, backpack, loose fitting pants, shorts, t-shirt, camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, toiletries, a hat, and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions of the day. All gear, climbing shoes, harness, and helmet are provided.
Book Early: Our Rock Climbing Programs typically sells-out several weeks in advance. To insure your trip date make your reservations early.
