 Chill-Out on the River is a 3 hour kayaking & hiking excursion. Basic kayak instruction is provided to insure a safe, enjoyable experience and introduction to kayak touring.
You will meet our friendly kayaking guides at our outfitters shop located at the Canyon of the Eagles Nature Park. You'll have opportunity to meet other guests and get familiar with the equipment and ask any questions that you have.
You will learn  techniques for entering and exiting the kayak, basic paddling strokes and maneuvering.
Beyond the instructional aspect of your day you will be exploring the shoreline along the western two-thirds of the Nature Park and enjoying a fun, relaxing paddle to hiking trails that feature habitats used by Bald Eagles, Black-Capped Vireos, and Golden-Cheeked Warblers.
A lakeside picnic lunch is included for the 10am trip. An open menu at the Bedrock Beach Grill for the 2pm trip--a delicious way to wrap up the afternoon!

What to Bring: A pair of water shoes or strapped sandals and hiking shoes, camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, medications, a hat, towel, binoculars, and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions of the day.

Changes or Cancellation Policy:
All reservations are pre-paid with credit card. Payments are fully refundable with a 30 day cancellation notice. Should you need to cancel, reschedule or for weather delays inside of the 30 days you will have one year to reschedule. Cancellation or no-show the day of arrival will result in forfeiture of payments.
