The Wine on the River is a 4 hour kayaking excursion. Basic kayak instruction is provided to insure a safe, enjoyable experience and introduction to kayak touring.

You'll meet our friendly kayaking guide at our outfitters shop located at the Canyon of the Eagles Park.

You will learn techniques for entering and exiting the kayak, basic paddle strokes and maneuvering.

After launching the kayaks you will paddle north at a relaxed pace from our base at the Canyon of the Eagles along the scenic shorelines of Lake Buchanan enjoying the rich natural and cultural heritage of the area. Your exploration of the Vineyards includes a winery tour and sampling of their award-winning wines.

A lakeside picnic lunch is included in the price--a delicious way to wrap up the afternoon!

Level: This kayak trip is appropriate for beginner and intermediate paddlers in good physical condition.

What to Bring: A pair of water shoes or strapped sandals and hiking shoes, camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, medications, a hat, towel, binoculars, and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions of the day.

Changes or Cancellation Policy:
All reservations are pre-paid with credit card. Payments are fully refundable with a 30 day cancellation notice. Should you need to cancel, reschedule or for weather delays inside of the 30 days you will have one year to reschedule. Cancellation or no-show the day of arrival will result in forfeiture of payments.
