 The GPS Scavenger Hunt is a pre-designed course that covers two miles, and has 13 different activity stations (waypoints) along the way.
The content of the activity stations focuses on the natural history of the Central Texas Hill Country and is appropriate for ages 12 and up.
After receiving instruction from the course facilitator, each team uses their GPS device to navigate from one waypoint to the next and completes each of the 13 activities to accumulate points. The winning team is the one that accumulates the most points.
What to Bring: A pair of water shoes or strapped sandals and hiking shoes, camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, medications, a hat, towel, binoculars, and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions of the day.
